SeatPack Classrooms

Where the children are, the classroom is there too! SeatPack classrooms are "mobile classrooms" serving over 4,000 children in primary schools across Uganda and Kenya, ensuring daily school attendance in great conditions. Bring these learning conditions to children in a community you are part of.

Ochiba Primary School is a mixed day and boarding school, located in Northern Uganda, Arua District. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the cemented floor.

Yoyo Primary School

Located in Northern Uganda, Bidi-Bidi refugee settlement camp (largest settlement in Uganda). Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the floor in the open shelter classrooms. Yoyo PS is a mixed day and boarding school with sanitary facilities on the premises.

Alijoda Primary School

Located in Northern Uganda, West-Nile region. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students in the new classroom sat on the uncemented floor covered with old sisal sacks. Alijoda PS is a mixed day and boarding school with sanitary facilities on the premises.

Abiki Primary School

Located in Northern Uganda, West-Nile region. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on huge stones under a big Mango tree. Abiki PS is a mixed day and boarding school with sanitary facilities on the premises.

Apo Army Primary School

Located in Northern Uganda, Yumbe district. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the floor in the open shelter classrooms. Apo Army PS is a mixed day and boarding school set up to educate children of Men and Women in service to the Uganda Peoples Defense Forces. The school has with sanitary facilities on the premises.

Lui Primary School

Located in Eastern Uganda, Moroto district. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the floor in the closed shelter classrooms. Lui PS is a mixed day and boarding school set up to educate children of Karamajong tibe. 50 SeatPacks were handed to the students in collaboration with Karatunga tours and travel company. A community activity based travel company shwocasing Karamajong culture to the world. We have since received positive reviews on child enthusiasm to attend school and increased attention in class due to the SeatPack use.

Kibinjwa Primary School

Located in Western Uganda, Hoima district. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the floor under a tree shed. Kibinjwa PS is a mixed day and boarding school set up to educate children of the Albertine region, a key oil drilling region in East Africa. ​50 SeatPacks were handed to the students in collaboration with JICA UGANDA. The Japanese International Corporation Agency is a national support organisation with interest to improve education in Uganda amongst other sector activities

War Child Canada - Refugee Learning Centre

Located in Western Uganda, Nakivale settlement camp in Isingiro district. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the floor and benches in a tent structure. The Primary school is a mixed day school set up to educate children fleeing conflict from Burundi, DRC and South Sudan. ​50 SeatPacks were handed to the students in collaboration with WARCHILD CANADA. The International Development Agency is a national support organization with interest to improve education in Uganda amongst other sector activities

War Child Canada - Adolescent Parent Centre

Located in Western Uganda, Nakivale settlement camp in Isingiro district. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the floor and benches in a tent structure. The secondary school is a day school set up to educate children fleeing conflict from Burundi, DRC and South Sudan. ​50 SeatPacks were handed to the students in collaboration with WARCHILD CANADA.

Gombe Kayunga Primary School

Located in Central Uganda, Wakiso district. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the floor and squeezed on small desks in built classroom structures. The secondary school is a mixed day and boarding school set up to educate children living in the suburbs of Kampala, the capital of Uganda. 50 SeatPacks were handed to a classroom of students in collaboration with SAVE THE CHILDREN - UGANDA

Budatu Primary School

Located in Eastern Uganda, Namutamba district. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on pieces of wood collected from the garden. ​50 SeatPacks were handed to the students in collaboration with BLOSSOM - a Ugandan youth led community based organization 

Kaabong - Community School

Located in Northern Uganda, Karamoja district. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the floor and benches in a tent structure. ​220 children received SeatPacks and were handed to the students in collaboration with AFRICA BORN IN MY HEART: Watch full mission movie here.

Namaato Primary School

Discovery Primary School

Located in Central Uganda, Kampala district. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the bare floor in their classrooms. ​50 children received SeatPacks and were handed to the students in the presence of DW Tv coverage

Rohoko Primary School

Located in Western Uganda, Nakivale settlement camp in Isingiro district. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the floor and benches in a tent structure. The secondary school is a day school set up to educate children fleeing conflict from Burundi, DRC and South Sudan. ​50 SeatPacks were handed to the students in collaboration with WARCHILD CANADA.

Hill road view Primary School

Located in Central Uganda, Masaka district. Before receiving SeatPacks, the students sat on the floor and a few desks in the bac of the class. ​50 children received SeatPacks.

Located in the Masai planes of Kenya, this school was founded by the headteacher, Mrs.Eunice. Her students attend a one-room school where they sat on the dusty floor before receiving SeatPacks. The children walk many hours to school and lacked foot wear. The Shoe that Grows by Because International was distributed with SeatPacks to these children to prevent health hazards as they attend school.
